Vortex Material

Our coatings have a number of applications. Whatever you want to
protect, we have a coating that will do the job

Standard Vortex

The Vortex Resin is a hybrid combination of both polyurea and polyurethane. This gives you both flexibility & tough impact resistance. This is our flagship coating that provides excellent protection and waterproofing at just 1/16″ thickness.

Low Pressure Pure Polyurea

Never before has a pure Polyurea been able to be sprayed out of a low pressure liner system with a mixing element. Vortex has revolutionized the polyurea industry with its custom low pressure polyurea that gives you all the benefits of the high pressure Polyurea without the excessive overspray typically associated with high pressure systems. This Is a great way to get into tight areas such as man holes or storage lockers when Polyurea is required.

Vortex Flexâ„¢

Vortex Flexâ„¢ is a slightly softer and more flexible version of the Standard Vortex Resin. It is the only approved material in the state of California to seal “rubber boots” in the manholes at gas stations because of it’s ability to flex, vibrate, absorb shock and also is environmentally green. As with all Vortex coating materials, Vortex Flexâ„¢ contains zero VOC’s, does not contain HAPS and is non combustible and non flammable.

High Pressure Vortex-R

A special blend of the popular Vortex Standard, developed to be sprayed through a high pressure system. This special blend reacts faster and works great with any high pressure system to help bring costs down when Pure Polyurea Is not necessary. Granitex Floor Chips

One of the best ways to customize and color your floor is by utilizing our vast color chip system. With the ability to either go full color or create a mix to mimic the look of granite, these chips give you great creative control.

Eco-Meric Material

Eco-Meric can provide that final touch to any roofing project to help protect one of the biggest investments on the building.

Eco-Blue Water Sealing Base Coat

The Eco-Meric Blue water sealing base coat seals the surface with a water proof elastomeric coating that has an elongation property of over 200%. This ensures it will expand and contract with the roof through the seasons. Eco-Blue can be sprayed or rolled on depending on the type of roof being restored. Being Energy Star® rated and ” super green” for the environment, it cleans up easily with water; no solvents needed.

Solarmericâ„¢ Top Coat

The Solarmericâ„¢ top coat is both a water proofing membrane and also a UV protective top coat to Eco-Blue. Solarmericâ„¢ Top Coat has a Class A-UL fire rating and is also Energy Star®Â rated. This means it can drastically reduce your cooling cost by reflecting up to 85% of the hot, harmful sun rays. The combination of the Eco-Blue and Solarmericâ„¢ top coat will extend the life of your existing roof for years to come. Economically and environmentally safe this is the smart choice to roof replacement.

Granitex Floor Chips

One of the best ways to customize and color your floor is by utilizing our vast color chip system. With the ability to either go full color or create a mix to mimic the look of granite, these chips give you great creative control.

Substrate Preperation

Your coating is only as good as your preparation. We have a variety of products to help seal and adhere any of our coatings to a wide variety of substrates.

Super Seal Plus

Super Seal Plus is the new and improved version of the already amazing Super Seal. This newest version has special flow control additives that elimina1te surface deterrence or separations such as “fish eyes” or texturing do to minute contaminants on the surface. Super Seal locks out moisture from coming up through concrete and is great for metal or wood when applying any of our other coating products. An even flow, smooth finish and uniform look is what you can expect with the new Super Seal Plus. Easy to mix and easy to apply.

Vortex Wood Sealer

Vortex Wood Sealer is specially engineered to lock out natural moisture on surfaces of wood such as wood decks, docks, patiso, trailers or anything made of wood that is to be coated with our Vortex material. Without a sealer, moisture can begin to evaporate from the surface when heated. This can cause blisters after the Vortex material has been applied. The applrcation of either Super Seal Plus or Vortex Wood Sealer eliminates this potential hazard. Wood Sealer dries faster than Super Sealer but it can only be used on wood and is only been tested compatable with Vortex material.

Metaltexâ„¢ Prime

The Metaltexâ„¢ system is a revolutionary new way to speed up the process of applying Vortex materials to raw metal. Be it raw steel, galvinized, aluminum, or iron. You no longer need to wait a day or more for a standard primer, with the Metaltexâ„¢ system, it is just a matter of minutes before you can begin your coating application. Metaltexâ„¢ Prime is the first step in the process of preparing your metal or aluminum substrate. You simply spray on a thin coat, let it set for 3 minutes and rinse it off with water. This is a rust & oxidation inhibitor that treats the metal for the second step crosslinking coating, Metaltex II or Alumitex.

Metaltexâ„¢ II

Metaltex II is the second part of the Metaltex process. Once Meteltex Prime has dried, simply spray on a thin coat of Metaltex II and allow it dry. Once dry, you you’re ready to apply. There is a 3 day recoat window of application after Metaltex II has dried. So If you prep a metal surface on Friday, you have until Monday to apply your coating. The Metaltex process is excellent for production applications where quick set up and preparation is necessary but also where there is a grace period where the coating can still be without needing to prep again. Metaltex is great for steel, galvanized metals, and iron.

Alumitexâ„¢

Alumitex is the second part of the preparation process specifically formulated for aluminum. It requires the first Metaltex Prime coat and then applies in the same way as Metaltex II. This specially formulated product should only be used on aluminum and will give a much stronger bond to this substrate than using Metaltex II.

Eco-Meric M.I.B

M.I.B stands for “Miracle In a Bucket” and this white mastic truly is a wonder. Combined with a piece of Eco-cloth you can repair seams, gaps, holes, and cracks in mastic around vent pipes or air conditioning ducts. Apply a thin layer of M.I.B white mastic to the surface, place a piece of Eco-Cloth then top it off with another thin coat of M.I.B. and your done the surface is prepared for and Eco-Meric coating.

Eco-Meric Eco-Clothâ„¢

Applying a typical mastic or tar to a joint seam or gap is only a temporary fix. Eventually it will dry out, the roof will expand in the sun and the repair will crack or split. The answer to having a quality repair is to apply a coat of our very elastic roof mastic, Eco-meric M .I. B and strengthening it with our Eco-Cloth to bridge the crack or seam. A second layer of M .I. B. and the repair will stay in place. Eco-Cloth is 4″ wide and 300′ long. It is an inexpensive and durable repair and preparation product.
