Talisker distillery is located in Carbost, Scotland on the Minginish Peninsula on the Isle of Skye, where they have been producing single malt Scotch whiskey for almost a century. In 1830 Hugh MacAskill leased the site from the MacLeods, and named it after his estate rather than the village the distillery resided in.The distillery began producing special bottlings of the whisky for connoisseurs in the early 2000s and their classic malt series has gained immense popularity over the years since. Talisker 30 Year Old Single Malt Scotch comes from the Isle of Skye in Scotland. Talisker 30 year tells a story of the Skye sea shore and its rugged environment.
